This artwork was part of a collective exhibition tribute to Guadalupe Posadas, one of the greatest poster illustrators during the 'Renaissance' era. He normally used to represent people as skeletons and, along with other subjects that he reflected in his works, the french invasion to Mexico (Battle of Puebla) was one of them. In this illustration, the french general is looking how the angry Mexican soldiers are approaching towards the french army.
